On the Disney Exchange’s episode on Disney souvenirs, I can’t believe Dave, Lisa or I did not come up with one that is readily available to every man, woman and child entering the Disney Parks. And they are free!
I’m talking about park maps, guides and brochures.
We pick up a couple of sets of guidemaps each trip to put away, and I have them going back to the early 1990s.
It’s amazing and interesting to look back at what the parks used to look like, as things are constantly changing. It’s like a time machine.
And the Water Parks aren’t left out either. Though I haven’t been to Typhoon Lagoon in many years, this guide brings me back every time I look at it.
You can also get brochures from special events such as Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival and Epcot’s International Flower and Garden Festival. I went Epcot the very first year the latter event took place, 1994, as well as the following year. Much has changed as you can imagine!
Do you keep your park guides and look at them?
